The total budget of Delhi Fire Service during the year 2002-03 is Rs. 4099 lakhs (plan Rs. 1800 lakhs and non-plan Rs. 2299 lakhs) as against Rs. 4467 lakhs (plan Rs. 1890 lakhs and non-plan Rs. 2577 lakhs) during 2001-02. It is felt that the on-going projects of construction of fire station etc. will be completed during the year and future projects will be taken up by PWD.
